|Home Team:||South Korea|
|Pick:||Away Win First Half|
Kazan will the stage Germany will take on South Korea while nothing is yet decided in Group F - not who will advance and not who will go home. Yes, you heard it right - even Mexico is not yet guaranteed of anything at all and not even South Korea is in a position to pack it's suitcases on the way to Seoul.
We are fortunate. Cause there are some stages in the international sports you call the spot shots. Is this the right spot to call such a shot?
Let us see:
So, today's games in Kazan and Ekaterinburg can decide everything while every goal on any side matters. Goal I said? Every yellow card matters.
In the event that two (or more) teams finish with an equal number of points, the following rules break the tie:
1. Goal difference
2. Goals scored
4. Fair play (cards)
As you can very well see the minimal win by the Swedes over Mexico and the minimal win of Germany over South Korea (1-0) will create three way tie between the Swedes, Germans and Mexico with the same ratio in everything except the cards where the Germans are heavily disadvantaged.
In any other cases as well things get complicated for Germany going into tiebreakers. Therefore they need as high margin victory as possible against South Korean team that will make things very difficult for them. That will hold till the first goal which I believe will be scored by the Germans already at the first half.
