Ok. The knock out stage is here and we get the bombshell game right at the beginning. There are going to be 8 games between the 16 teams that survived the group stage and that is why it is called 1/8 Final (in the US we call it Round 16). This is a 5 units play.
Now, who wouldn't want to see Messi against Ronaldo on a national level? Who? Me. I don't want to see that as I know I will be disappointed as Messi is not able to display the form we are used to see him in Barca first of all because his teammates - except Mascherano - aren't from Barca, and second - he's tired. Very tired.
The luck goes with the best and the luck that got the Argentinian team to the 1/8 Final against France is pretty big luck. Who would have imagined it would be Rojo the fullback who scored the decisive goal against Nigeria on a one touch volley from the corner kick?
France, they didn't get here by luck. They actually walked here. They yet have to start sweating this World Cup having easily defeated Peru and Australia, and then conveniently drawn against the Danes.
Who ever will claim to know who will qualify from this match up must have some solid info in his hands otherwise which of the following will happen in 1/4 Final is hard to predict just like that. Will Argentina qualify and play Uruguay in all South American Quarter Final in case the Uruguayans will knock the Portuguese out later in the evening? Or will it be Messi vs Ronaldo if Portugal ousts Uruguay? Or, will it be a repetition of the Euro 2016 Final between the French and Portugal, only this time French will have the upper hand?
I don't know. I only know that the first half will end in a draw.

Oh yes! Di Maria. Mbepe. Yes!
What a math. It easily could’ve been a semi or the final itself.
I watched only the second half but wowowowow. Especially the tying goal by that frencman I can’t recall his name.
