|Home Team:||WASH Capitals|
|Away Team:||PIT Penguins|
This game will feature the Capitals with another opportunity to start the series with a 0-2 deficit at home. Sounds like a joke? Well, it is not a joke. Seems that the Caps themselves are beginning to believe that the best way to handle the NHL playoff series are by losing the two games at home.
The last two times they did exactly the same: they lost to those Penguins last season in the playoffs the first two games at home only to force game seven at Capital One Arena and lose it. This playoff season too they began with 2 losses at home to the Jackets before winning the next 4 and qualifying for this series which they off course began by losing the first one after leading 2-0 in the third and allowing 3 goals in less than 5 minutes.
So, will they lose again? I don't know. I only know that with Malkin back we are expected to bet over but I can see the under as the trend on under is much bigger: Under is 4-0 in the last 4 meetings in Washington.
Under is 5-1 in the last 6 meetings.
