|Home Team:||TB Rays|
|Away Team:||NY Yankees|
The game is played in San Diego. There is some bad blood between those two teams and we are supposed to take interest in the side story accompanying these series as the last incident was Chapman throwing a ball at one of the Rays players. Supposedly. No brawl. Just verbal fist waving. Another pan of the story is the Rays stating numerous times they enjoying beating the Yankees a little bit more than beating the other teams. And the third and final - but the most important dual narrative is that the Rays took 8 out of last 10 from the Yankees outscoring them 47-34, but - there is a big BUT accompanying that as Aaron Judge missed the final 6 games due to a left calf strain, Giancarlo Stanton missed the final 7 meetings with a hamstring injury, and DJ LeMahieu missed 3 games with a sprained thumb.
Smartest thing to do in these series as a bettor is realizing that this will hardly be a sweep. After realizing that - the second point is that if already a sweep - the Yankees won't be the ones swept. Not with the firepower which scored 22 runs in just 2 games against the Indians. True, the Rays are almost equally aggressive and even better defensively, but, Judge will impact this game, and the Yankees will grab at least one game of the series if not more.
